Cooroy Community Kindergarten is an approved kindergarten program provider under the Queensland Government, Queensland Kindergarten Funding Scheme (QKFS). We pride ourselves in exceeding national quality standards across all seven areas of assessment by the Department of Education, Training and Employment.

Cooroy Community Kindergarten specialises in educational pre-prep programs for children 3½ years to school age,  30 hours per fortnight, forty weeks per year.


We offer 22 places in each group. Children become a part of the Kangaroo or Koala family.


Children attend 5 full days per fortnight

8.30am to 2.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays


Children attend 5 full days per fortnight

8.30am to 2.30pm on alternate Wednesdays, Thursday and Friday


Cooroy Community Kindergarten is strongly supported and has a significant enrolment waiting list.

Should you wish to enrol your child we encourage you to do so as early as possible. Children can be enroled up to three years in advance

If you would like your child to participate in our education program and be a member of our Community Kindergarten, please call in and see the enrolment officer between 2.45-3.30pm on the first Tuesday of every month (excluding school holidays), and for a small fee of $10.00 we will waitlist him/her for the appropriate year.

Enrolment Fee (non-refundable)

Once you have accepted a position at the Kindergarten you are required to pay a $130 Enrolment fee to secure your child’s placement.


2019 fees are approximately $800 per term subject to change. Health care card holders are subject to government subsidy.
